Mit der Marmorskulptur des Mölltaler Bildhauers Heinrich Untergantschnig erobert die Kunst auch den öffentlichen Raum in Velden. Die aus Krastaler Marmor geschaffene Skulptur „Das große soziale Gefüge“ ist in den Maßen dem menschlichen Körper im Verhältnis gleichgestellt ist. Die Skulptur lässt mit den verschiedenen Formen ein Gefüge entstehen, wie es auch in der Gesellschaft mit ihrer Vielfalt zu finden ist. Das Fehlen jeder einzelnen Form würde wie auch das Fehlen eines Menschen in der Gesellschaft einen Verlust bedeuten.
