Description
This guided E-Bike Day Tour combines exercise, history, and culture. From the medieval Castle Town of Friesach, the route leads into the historically significant Gurktal, which is closely connected to the life of Saint Hemma of Gurk.

Accompanied by MMag. Carmen Heller, Austrian Guide and Historian, you will discover numerous historical places and learn fascinating stories from medieval Carinthia on this varied tour.

Among the stops are:

• Pöckstein Castle

• the Bishop's Castle of Straßburg

• the Church of Lieding with the memory of Imma, Hemma's grandmother

• the Catedral of Gurk with its impressive 100-column crypt and the grave of Saint Hemma

After a short visit to the Romanesque Parish Church of Zweinitz, the route leads back to Friesach in the late afternoon.
